Buy the Truck

Buy the truck.  

Even if it's a cheap one.  

It can be old or new. Large or small. Beat up or sparkling. 

The details really don't matter. 

Just buy the truck.

It makes you happy every time you climb up into it or slide down out of it.  It feels as comfortable as your best jeans. It gives you the same confidence as your big boots and short hair. 

It announces your place in the family of things, just like in the Mary Oliver poem.
